Car Hire – Geneva Airport

At Geneva airport cars can be hired from both the French and the Swiss sides. Hiring a car on the French side tends to be cheaper, but adds approx 45min to the journey time, due to the position of the exit.

Airport Transfers

Fly to Chambery and catch a bus (00 33 479 54 49 54), which takes about one hour 15 minutes. Alternatively, fly to Lyon, and take a taxi or bus (www.satobus-alpes.altibus.com) or to Grenoble for a bus connection (00 33 476 65 48 48). Transfer time from both is about two and a half hours.

Getting To La Plagne By Train

By Train

Travelling by Eurostar (00 44 87 05 18 61 86) to nearby Bourg Saint Maurice gives you more time on the slopes.
