Who Goes Skiing in Cortina d’Ampezzo?

From absolute beginner to off-piste expert, somewhere among the slopes of Cortina you’ll find your playground.

A number of smallish ski areas, Cortina d’Ampezzo requires buses to get to them, some are a fair distance from town centre.

Chemmy Alcott and Clare Balding make for a formidable Winter Olympic 2026 presenting team for the BBC in Cortina d’Amprezzo.

It’s Italy, you’ll find gorgeous food everywhere. Cortina is open for delicious food and drink whether is pre-ski, during ski or apres ski!

Try the 6km toboggan run or visit the ice rink for skating or curling. The more adventurous can try dog sleighing or guided winter walking.
