Courchevel 1300 Le Praz

Courchevel The Saulire

Courchevel 1300, La Praz is part of the world famous Three Valley ski area.

La Praz is a real alpine village with attractive narrow cobbled street. A couple of thousand people live in Le Praz all year round, there is a school, supermarket, restaurants, bars, ski shops, a post office, butcher, baker etc.

Access to the slopes is choice between two gondolas. Le Praz which links directly to Courchevel 1850 and Le Foret which links with Le Col de Loze. It is usually possible to ski back to Le Praz due to the snow cannons and the two black runs, Jean Blanc and Jockeys, which are two of the greatest runs in The Three Valleys.

The nightlife is very low-key, but visitors can use the free bus service for trips into the other villages.
