Life is Just a Party and Parties Weren’t Meant to Last.

Apres ski is a French expression that literally translates as ‘after skiing’ and traditionally meant a few drinks at the end of the ski day.
Now, Apres Ski refers to pretty much anything that goes on in a ski resort that is not skiing or boarding, but mainly it refers to socialising, drinking, dancing and partying.
Apres Ski is very popular in the Alps, where skiers often stop at piste side bars on their last run of the day.
After all, there’s no better way to end a great day’s skiing than with a few well earned apres ski drinks among friends; swapping grossly exaggerated tales of ski prowess and wipe-outs on the mountain. For many this is a prelude to visiting the resort’s many restaurants bars and clubs.
Most of the popular and the Best Ski Resorts in Europe have a large number of bars, restaurants and clubs, some of which rival those found in the capital cities of the World; with prices to match: Luckily most are much more informal.
Two of Austria’s Best Apres Ski Resorts are Ischgl and St Anton, in France try; Val d’Isere and Meribel.
Always remember you have the rest of the year to party, don’t let the party spoil the skiing: Is that my age and the memory one too many hangovers speaking?!
pop trivia: 1999 is the the title track from Prince’s 1982 album; re-charting following his untimely death in April 2016.
