Riksgransen Ski Resort Review.
Only the eternal darkness of early winter prevents the slopes being open right the way through from October until June. Riksgransen ski season does not really get started until February when there are sufficient daylight hours. By midsummers’s day, the end of the season, the sun will not have set for over a month.
Riksgransen, the world’s northernmost ski resort, 200km north of the Arctic Circle, is known principally for its extensive off-piste skiing and actually lists the most important on its ski trail map.
