The Clocks are Going Forward, The Sun is Shining.

I have seen suggestions that this year putting the clocks forward by about four months should do it!

For our venture with an 8kg pack we opted for eight miles, 13km around Ilam. It is easy to forget how lovely the Peak District is.

We’ve booked into 5 alpine huts in Austria. We plan to complete a good portion of the hut to hut Berliner Hohenweg in September.

It is a little remiss that we haven’t been to the Lake District for over 10 years! Friends were going to Ambleside, so we invited ourselves.

As regulars in Austria and keen hikers in the Tirol and the Dolomites, it’s odd that we’d not been hiking in the Julian Alps of Slovenia.

Alex Honnold has climbed El Capitan solo, the film about it has won an Oscar! The film, Free Solo, is showing via streaming services.

I have worn Kymira sports socks whilst out hiking and biking. They are great little sports socks, that fit ‘like a glove’.
